Dear Mrs, Makris's family. Today in preparing for Christmas I went through my old recipes as I do each year and there were several handwritten ones from Carmine. I last saw Carmine when I left B.Altman in 1984 and this afternoon I decided to "google" her only to find our her passing. I was so sad to read the news. Please know that I will make one of her recipes for Chritmas and she will be part of our family celebration. She was a wonderful woman and a fabulous cook. I will never forget her.
