Obituary of Russell Hasslinger

HASSLINGER, Russell, age 86, of Wyckoff, died on January 31, 2010 at Christian Health Care Center. Born in Ridgefield Park, NJ he was a resident of Wyckoff for over 50 years. He was a WW II Army veteran. Russell was a Vice President at Velcro Inc. in New York City where he worked for over 25 years. He was an usher, greeter and served on the facility management team of Grace United Methodist Church in Wyckoff. He is survived by his daughter Laurie Leary of Dover, DE, his sons Randy Hasslinger of Alpharetta, GA and Darrell Hasslinger of Ramsey, NJ, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Martha Hasslinger of Longboat Key, FL. Russell was predeceased by his wife Geraldine in 1998 and his brother William. A memorial service celebrating Russell's life will be held on Wednesday, 2 pm at Grace United Methodist Church, 555 Russell Ave., Wyckoff, NJ.
