Obituary of John DiTomasso

DI TOMASSO, John A., Jr., age 44, of Mahwah, died December 15, 2009. Born in Brooklyn, he grew up in Staten Island and Ho-Ho-Kus, before settling in Mahwah for the past 20 years. John was a Planning Manager at Zimmer Trabecular Metal Technology in Parsippany, and has worked in this field since 1986. Beloved son of Margherita Grinchunas and her husband Richard of Mahwah, and his father John A. DiTomasso, Sr. and his wife Ellen of Lake Worth, FL. Cherished brother of Barbara Solazzo and her husband Vincent of Hillsdale. Devoted uncle of Vincent, Stephen, and Michael Solazzo. Adored grandson of Rose Mastroyanni and the late Armand Mastroyanni and Nicholas DiTomasso and the late Josephine DiTomasso. Also survived by his precious beagles, Brutus and Baby P., and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. Visiting hours are Sunday 2 - 6pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ, www.vpfh.com. Funeral mass is Monday, December 21, 10:00 am at St. Gabriels RC Church, 88 East Saddle River Road, Saddle River. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah.
