Obituary of Chester Wanamaker

Wanamaker, Chester, age 81, of Wyckoff, died Friday, December 04, 2009. Born in Paterson, Chet was a life-long resident of Wyckoff. Chet was in the Navy during World War II and he retired as a maintenance worker for the Bergen County Vocational School in Hackensack. He is survived by his daughter Carol and her husband Harry Raney of Hawthorne and his grandson Donald Wanamaker, Jr. Chet was predeceased by his wife Dorothy in 2006 and by his son Donald in 2008. Visiting hours are Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home of Wyckoff, 257 Godwin Avenue Wyckoff, www.vpfh.com. Funeral Service is Tuesday 11:30 am at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home.
