Obituary of Anna Hill

HILL, Anna, age 93, died on November 24, 2009. Born in Queens, NY, she lived in Woodcliff Lake for 43 years on Fairview Avenue during her childhood and while raising her children. She retired to Kinston, NY and finally moved to Midland Park about 3 years ago. She lived life to its fullest in retirement and for many years was greatly involved in the local community. She sang in the choir at St. Joseph's Church in Kingston, NY, held office in senior citizens clubs, volunteered as a foster grandparent at the elementary schools in West Hurley, NY, loved to bowl in senior citizens leagues, and loved to dance. She is survived by two sons, Raymond Hill, Jr., and Douglas Hill, Sr. and three daughters, Carol Sisti-Foley, Alice Kenly, and Theresa Hill. She is predeceased by her husband Raymond Hill, Sr. in 1992 and her daughter Patricia Hill in 1957. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be Sunday 2 - 5 at the Olthuis Funeral Home, 159 Godwin Ave., Midland Park, NJ 07432, www.vpfh.com. Funeral Mass is Monday, 10:00 am at Church of the Nativity, 315 Prospect St., Midland Park, NJ 07432. Interment will follow at the St. Anthony's Cemetery, 34 East Rt. 59, Nanuet, NY.
