Obituary of Seise Jerome

SEISE, Jerome Arthur "Jerry", age 87, died peacefully on Friday, August 14, 2009. Born in Hackensack on March 27, 1922, he proudly enlisted in the 814 Army Ordnance and served on Omaha Beach in WW-II. He resided in Rochelle Park for the past 53 years. He retired from PSE&G as a Sr. Staff Associate after 40 years. Before the war he met his true love Mildred Aspinwall and they were married on March 9, 1946 at the First Reformed Church, Saddle Brook. He was predeceased by Mildred after 63 years of marriage this past May, 2009. Jerry is survived by his sons Jeffrey (Nancy), Donald (Suzanne), both of Waldwick, and Timothy (Denise) of Jacksonville, FL, ten grandchildren: Andrew, Kevin (Colleen), Darren (Lauren), Lauren Eickenberg (Michael), Erik (Lori), Trevor, Alexander, Elizabeth, Gabrielle, and Chloe. Also three great-grandsons: Cooper, Tucker, and Luke, one sister Audrey. Friends may visit the family on Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. Funeral services will take place on Monday, 10:00 AM at the funeral home followed by interment at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
