Obituary of Donna Day

DAY, Donna Christine age 58 of Castle Rock, Colorado, Died Thursday, August 6, 2009. Donna was born in the Bronx, NY on February 5, 1951. She grew up in NJ and graduated from Ramsey High School in 1969. She obtained her Associates Degree from Massachusetts Institute of Art. She later moved to California and eventually moved to Arizona and then Castle Rock, Colorado for the past 5 years. She was an extremely active participant in the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce as well as her local community. Surviving are her two sisters, Cynthia Joy and her husband Chris, who reside in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ and Jo Ellen Bianchi and her husband John, who reside in Mahwah, NJ. Donna also leaves behind her niece, Salena Joy and her husband Christopher Kaminski, her nephew Christopher Joy and his wife, Devon Joy and her other niece, Christina Bianchi and her other nephew Jonathan Bianchi. Donna loved her German Shepherds, especially Freezie, Lido, and Joey. A Special Celebratory Mass for all of her friends and business associates will be held at Saint Francis of Assisi Church, 2746 5th Street, Castle Rock, Colorado at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 21st with a reception at the Church following the Mass. A separate Mass and Interment will take place for family and NJ friends at 10:30 AM on Thursday, August 27th at St. Paul's Church, 200 Wyckoff Avenue, Ramsey, NJ with a private internment at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah, NJ.
