Obituary of Thomas Gordon

GORDON, Thomas E., age 72, died peacefully on Friday, June 5, 2009 in Bonita Springs, FL. Born in Hoboken, NJ, he lived in Franklin Lakes before moving to Fort Meyers, FL twelve years ago. Before retiring, Tom was Vice President and a mortgage banker with Globe Mortgage Company of Hackensack. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Thomas is survived by his beloved wife Nancy J. to whom he was married for 50 wonderful years, his three dear children: Tammy Jacobs and husband Ed of Germantown, TN, Sandra Gordon of Wyckoff and Thomas and wife Michele of Wyckoff. He is also survived by his for loving grandsons: Michael Jacobs and Thomas, Christopher and Ryan Gordon, and two siblings: Kathleen Dunne of Richfield Park and Robert Gordon of Barnegat. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. Funeral Mass, Thursday, 10:00 AM at Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, 787 Franklin Lakes Road, Franklin Lakes followed by entombment at Madonna Cemetery and Mausoleum, Fort Lee.
