Obituary of Mildred L. Seise

SEISE, Mildred Lizzette, age 81, died peacefully on Sunday, May 3, 2009. Born in Atlanta, GA on September 13, 1927, she resided in Rochelle Park for the past 53 years. Mildred attended Midland School and Hackensack High School. She graduated in 1944 and worked for Allen B. Dumont Labs during World War II. Before the war she met her true love Jerome Seise of Hackensack and they were married on March 9, 1946 at the First Reformed Church, Saddle Brook, where she was actively involved. After her sons were old enough she worked at Bamburgers and then Bijur Lubricating Corp., retiring as Export Supervisor. Mildred is survived by her beloved husband Jerry, her sons Jeffrey (Nancy), Donald (Suzanne), both of Waldwick, and Timothy (Denise) of Jacksonville, FL, ten grandchildren: Andrew, Kevin (Colleen), Darren (Lauren), Lauren Eickenberg (Michael), Erik (Lori), Trevor, Alexander, Elizabeth, Gabrielle, and Chloe. Also three great-grandsons: Cooper, Tucker, and Luke, two sisters-in-laws: Elinore and Audrey. She was predeceased by her parents, loved stepfather Ralph Austin, and adored brother Donald. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, 11-12 PM at First Reformed Church, 5 Ackerman Ave., Saddle Brook, NJ 07663. A funeral service will follow in the church at 12 Noon followed by interment at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the First Reformed Church of Saddle Brook or the Waldwick United Methodist Church 25 Franklin Turnpike, Waldwick, NJ 07463.
