Obituary of Gladys Van Ry

VAN RY, Gladys, (nee Bleisch), age 81, died peacefully on Thursday, April 23, 2009. Born in New York City, she lived in Midland Park for more than fifty years. Gladys was a homemaker who also worked for Public Works Publications, Ridgewood. She was a member of Midland Park United Methodist Church where she participated in the Elizabeth Circle. She was also a former member of the Midland Park Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Gladys is survived by her two loving sons; Chris of Midland Park and Bruce of Mesa, AZ. She is also survived by two dear grandchildren; Kelli and Robert and five great-grandchildren; Evan, Emily, Peter, Paige and Thomas. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Bernard "Dutch" in 2006, her son Glenn in 1976 and her sister Betty Cussac. Cremation was private. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, May 2, 11:00 AM at the Midland Park United Methodist Church, 269 Godwin Ave., Midland Park.
