Obituary of Hildegarde Ossi Winter

OSSI WINTER, Hildegarde age 95 of Wyckoff, died at her home on Friday, April 10, 2009. Born in Hoboken on December 20, 1913, Hildegarde lived in Warren Point, NJ before moving to Wyckoff in 1947. Hildegarde was active in the Woman's and Garden Clubs of Wyckoff and enjoyed spending endless hours in her yard tending to her flowers. Surviving are her children, Peter Shilling Ossi of Wichita, KS, Judith Ossi Reed of Flemington, NJ and James Matthew Ossi of Darien, CT. Hildegarde also leaves four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and her sisters Fay Schubert of Saddle Brook and Vera Tiffinger of Garfield. A service of reflection will be held Wednesday 10:00 am at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. Interment will follow in the George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
