Obituary of Mary Cubby

CUBBY, Mary (nee Normile) age 81 of Ft. Pierce, FL, died Sunday, April 5, 2009. Born in the Bronx, NY on May 17, 1927, Mary lived in North Haledon for 47 years before moving to Florida. Mary was a 1949 graduate of the Hackensack Hospital School of Nursing. Surviving are her devoted children, Rosemary and her husband Stephen Konde, David Cubby and his wife Susan both of Waldwick, Wesley Cubby and his wife Diane, Ellen and her husband Michael Post both of Bloomingdale. Mary also leaves nine grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; her sisters, Loretta Van Ronk and Madeline Collentine and her brothers, James and John Normile as well as many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her husband Wesley Cubby in 1990. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 10:00 am from the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff. Interment will follow in the Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Paterson. Visiting is Monday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., P.O.
