Obituary of Marilyn Comeskey

COMESKEY, Marilyn (nee Sidley) age 83 of Allendale, died on Tuesday, March 24, 2009. Born in Belleville, she lived in Wyckoff for 56 years before moving to Allendale 4 years ago. Marilyn was one of the Secretaries for the President of Ramapo College until she retired. Surviving are her children, Monica T. Comeskey of Norfolk, VA, Marilyn T. Varsolona of Allendale, Elaine P. Ohnmeis of Cincinnati, OH, Nicholas J. Comeskey II of Oregon and Peter Comeskey of San Jose, CA. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren. Marilyn is predeceased by her husband Nicholas J. Comeskey in 1985. Visiting hours are Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ, www.vpfh.com. Funeral Mass is Saturday, 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Nativity, 315 Prospect St. Midland Park, NJ 07432. Interment will follow at the Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah.
