To the Family and Friends of our dear friend Josh. Mary and I would like to extend our deepest condolences to you at Josh’s passing. We feel it is our loss, but God’s gain. Josh and I first met in 1995, and from that first meeting, we formed a friendship and a spiritual bond that has been interrupted in the material sense only. I believe that certain individuals enter into our lives to help us in our journey towards God and Josh was chosen to assist me in my own journey. He did just that by his presence and understanding. In November 2007, when Mary and I moved to South Carolina, Josh wrote, “I will miss you as a friend and confidant and remember all the laughs and good times”. We stayed in touch and when he entered the hospital awaiting his diagnosis, I told him over the phone, “Josh, if by chance your diagnosis is life threatening and you don’t pull out of it, please put in a good word to God for me and he said, “I will”.
