Obituary of Caroline Buchta

BUCHTA, Caroline S. (nee Sander) died peacefully on Sunday, February 1, 2009. Born in New York City, she lived in Midland Park and New Hampshire before moving to The Christian Health Care Center in Wyckoff in 2001. Caroline was a homemaker. She attended Faith Reformed Church in Midland Park. She was a former member of Westmoreland United Church in Westmoreland, NH. She is survived by her loving daughters Gail Crane and her husband Donald of Princeton, NJ and Carol Hoffmann and her husband Paul of Midland Park. Also survived by her grandchildren Elizabeth, Bradford, Kristina, and Brian, and one great grandchild Alixis-Kathryn. Caroline was predeceased by her loving husband August in 1997. Friends may visit the family on Friday, 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com) 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Christian Health Care Center Employee Fund, 301 Sicomac Ave., Wyckoff, NJ 07481 would be appreciated.
