Obituary of William Holland
HOLLAND, William Paul, "Bill", age 83, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2009 at his home. Born in Jamaica Plains, MA, he lived in Westwood before moving to Midland Park 28 years ago.
Bill was a textile manager with Louis Hornick and Sons of Haverstraw, NY until retiring in 1993. He served his country during World War II in the United States Navy.
William is survived by his beloved wife Henrietta to whom he was married for 58 years, and his six children: Doreen Holland of Midland Park, William Paul Holland, Jr. of Midland Park, Denise Holland and her companion Bryan Worth of North Haledon, Robert David Holland and wife Christine of Oakland, Michael Martin Holland and wife Maria of Midland Park and David Brantley Holland of Midland Park. He is also survived by his four grandchildren: Michael, Elisa, Michael and Thomas, and his great grandson Evan.
Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Olthuis Funeral Home (www.olthuisfuneralhome.com), 159 Godwin Ave. Midland Park. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, 9:15 AM at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 AM at St. Luke's R.C. Church, 340 Franklin Turnpike, Ho-Ho-Kus. Entombment at Garden of Memories Mausoleum, Washington Township.
