Obituary of Maureen D'Arienzo

D'ARIENZO, Maureen, age 56, died peacefully at home with her family by her side, on Monday, January 5, 2009. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Wyckoff for the past thirty-one years. Maureen was the office manager of Family Chiropractic Center of Wyckoff. She was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth R.C. Church of Wyckoff. While she dedicated her life to her family, she also enjoyed exercising, reading and travel. Maureen is survived by her beloved husband Dr. Michael J. to whom she was married for 36 wonderful years, her three dear children: Dr. Michael C. D'Arienzo, Kerri Lyn Maguire and husband James, and Alexandria D'Arienzo. Maureen is also survived by her precious little grandson Gavin James and her four siblings: Diane McCarthy, Robert McCarthy, Susan Arillo, and Timothy McCarthy. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (www.vpfh.com) 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. A funeral service will take place on Friday, 9:15 AM at the funeral home followed by a funeral mass, 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth's R.C. Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942, would be appreciated.
