Obituary of Eleanor Cobuzio

COBUZIO, Eleanor, age 70, died peacefully on Monday, December 29, 2008. Born in Manhattan, NY, she lived for many years in Ringwood before moving to Franklin Lakes 20 years ago. Eleanor was office manager with her family-owned company Joseph J. Cobuzio, Inc., Franklin Lakes. She was a parishioner of Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, Franklin Lakes where she was involved with their employment ministry. She also was a parishioner of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Pompton Lakes. She was very active formerly serving in the West Milford Junior Women's Club and many other charitable endeavors. Eleanor is survived by her beloved husband Joseph to whom she was married for 49 wonderful years, her dear sons John and wife Ellen of Montville, and Joseph and wife Ronna of Franklin Lakes. She is also survived by her four cherished grandchildren: Nicole, Danielle, Alyssa, and Joseph. Friends may visit the family on Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (www.vpfh.com) 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. Funeral Service, Saturday 8:30 at the funeral home followed by a funeral mass, 9:30 AM at Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, 787 Franklin Lakes Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942, would be appreciated.
