Obituary of Betty Papapietro

Papapietro, Betty (nee Magrone) age 83 of Midland Park died Wednesday, December 24, 2008. Born in Brooklyn, NY she lived in Midland Park for 60 years. Betty was a parishioner of Church of the Nativity, Midland Park and was a member of the Rosary Society. She worked part time for 18 years at The Valley Hospital, Ridgewood as a Transport Aid, retiring in 1999. Surviving is her daughter, Dolores and her husband Mark Lawrence of Monroe, NY, her sons, Michael and his wife Joanie Papapietro, Nicholas and his wife Ilona Papapietro, Anthony and his wife Denise Papapietro all of Midland Park, NJ and her sister,Grace Magrone of Brooklyn, NY. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and her extended family. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael in 2003 and her brother Mario Magrone in 2000. Visiting Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. Prayers Monday, 8:45 AM at the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM at Church of the Nativity, 315 Prospect St. Midland Park, NJ. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
