Obituary of Ronald Hiscock

HISCOCK, Ronald G. age 69 of Ramsey formerly of Norwood and Old Tappan, died Monday December 22, 2008 at the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. Ron was born in Brooklyn NY on September 1, 1939. He lived most of his life in Norwood and Old Tappan before moving to Ramsey 8 years ago. His career was in the Building Industry as Superintendent of Construction, of which 18 years were spent at Bergen Blue Stone in Paramus. Ron was a parishioner of the Church of the Holy Communion in Norwood, he was a member of Activities Unlimited and enjoyed his time spent on the golf course. Surviving him is his loving wife of 49 years Elizabeth (nee King), his children, Scott King and his wife Kristin of Kunkletown, PA, Suzanne E. and her husband Stephen Hill of Ramsey and Sharon E. and her husband Darrell Eby of Belleville, PA. Ron also leaves his 5 grandchildren, Mason, Ian, Emily, Bridgette and Hannah. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 11:00 am at the Church of the Holy Communion, 66 Summit Street, Norwood, NJ. Visiting will be Friday, December 26, 2008, 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ.
