Obituary of Dolores Depken

DEPKEN, Dolores, age 82, died on Monday, Dec 15, 2008. Born in Nanticoke, PA, she lived in New York City for a short time until moving into Wyckoff, 54 years ago. She was a nurse at Bellevue Hospital in New York prior to raising her family. Dolores was a founding member of the Ramapo Boosters Association and a long time participant in the Harvard Nurses Study. She is survived by her son Fred and his wife Elizabeth of Wyckoff, her son John of Pompton Plains, her daughter Diane Depken and partner Cathy Zeman of Cedar Falls, IA and her daughter Carol Pecoraro and her husband Edward of Wyckoff. She is also survived by her grandchildren Andrew, Samantha, Theresa, Matthew and Nicole, and her sisters Maryanne Sekerak of Easton, PA, and Rita Stavitzski of Wilke-Barre, PA, her brother John Wengryn of Nanticoke and many nephews and nieces. Dolores was predeceased by her husband Fred of 51 years in November, 2007. Funeral services are private for the Family.
