Obituary of Patricia Sheehan

SHEEHAN, Patricia C., age 90 died peacefully on Thursday, December 4, 2008. Born in College Point, Queens, NY, she lived in Glen Rock for 56 years before moving to Waldwick a year ago. Pat was a homemaker. She also worked with her daughter, Maureen at the Mini Merchant in Midland Park for 19 years. She was a parishioner of Church of the Nativity, Midland Park. She was a member of the AMPS and the Rosary Society at St. Catherine's R.C. Church, Glen Rock. Pat also volunteered at the Valley Hospital Auxiliary. Pat is survived by her loving son James P. and wife Susan of Newton, her loving daughter and best friend Maureen E. Sheehan of Waldwick. Also survived by her granddaughter Colleen O'Brien and two great grandchildren, Margaret and Elinor. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 49 years, James W. in 1990 and her dear sister Jeanette Hatton in 2006. Friends may visit the family on Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (www.vpfh.com) 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff. Funeral Mass, Tuesday, 10:00 at Church of the Nativity 315 Prospect Street, Midland Park. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
