Obituary of Sadie Ackerman

ACKERMAN, Sadie, age 86, died Thursday, November 27, 2008. Sadie was born and raised in Midland Park and lived there until she moved to Waldwick 57 years ago. She is survived by her sons Ron of Ho-Ho-Kus and Barry and his wife Audrey of Waldwick, as well as her grandson Eric, and her brother Hank Dienema of Florida. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Sadie was pre-deceased by her husband Leroy in 2004. Visiting hours will be Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 at the Olthuis Funeral Home, 159 Godwin Avenue, Midland Park. Funeral service will be held Monday 10:00am at the Olthuis Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa. Memorial contributions may be made to the Waldwick Volunteer Ambulance Corps, PO Box 244 Waldwick, NJ 07463.
