Dear Dennis and Dara,Kathy,Jim and Juliette,James and Sarah,Jessica, Jennifer and Jeff, Joan and Patty. It is difficult to believe that we have known Bill for more than half of his live, ever since Patty became a part of the Cahill family. Each time he is thought of, his wonderful smile comes to mind. That same smile has carried though to the faces of all of his children, and probably his present and future grandchildren as well. In the difficult times ahead, just look at the supportive faces of your sisters and brothers and you will see your loving Dad smiling back at you and offering comfort. We wish that we could be there today to put our arms around each of you. Know that you are all in our hearts, our thoughts and in our prayers. God bless you. With love, Eileen, Courtney and Geri Cahill

Dear Scully Family, We're so sorry about your loss. Uncle Billy will always be in our prayers and we pray that God give you strength to get through this tough time. Larry lost his father 3 years ago and it was the hardest thing he ever had to go through. We want you to know that we will always be here for you to lean on, so if you need to vent or scream or cry do not hesitate to call us. After all that's what family is for. We love you and hope God will be able to provide some comfort. Love, Nicole & Larry Galanti

Bill Scully was a gentle loving man who left this world better than he found it and created a family who will carry on his legacy. It was a joy to have known him.

Dear Scully Family, I know enough about your family to know that your dad was very blessed. It is rare to see such an outpouring of kindness, love and support among family members. You are a tight-knit clan, and I know this brought your dad great joy and pride. You all continuously surrounded your dad with comfort and love which gave him the strength to fight. Even an outsider can clearly see how special your dad was to all of you. He will forever live in your hearts. Our deepest sympathy for your loss. Our love, Candice & Greg Giordano “I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.” Leo Buscaglia

Dear Joan and Family, In these difficult times, please know that Bill and all of you are in our prayers. As hard as it is to accept the fact that Bill is not with us anymore, the more I am convinced that he is in a better place, where I hope some day to meet him again. If anyone fits the definition of "beautiful people", it would certainly be Bill. I have been privileged to have known Bill for something like 12 years, and will treasure the memories of the time spent together. Even as he was moving from New Jersey, we planned and counted on many more years to come of music festivals and concerts, but even more importantly on meeting each other on these occasions I will miss him terribly, but then I am sure in spirit he will always be with us, and watching over us. God Bless, Peter and Family

To my dear friend Joan, I'm honored to have known Bill even if it was for just a brief time as a friend and neighbor in Hilton Head. His personality was magnetic. He treated every conversation with his full attention and care and in doing so, touched so many lives. Some go their whole lives without finding their true love and soul mate. Although there is never enough time, you and Bill packed so much love, devotion, laughter and memories into your time together. My heart is heavy with your sorrow. Chris Spirer
