Obituary of Arthur Reichel

REICHEL, Arthur N. "Art", age 93 died peacefully, surrounded by his family on Friday, November 7, 2008. Born in Union Hill, NJ, he lived in Tenafly and Edgewater before moving to Mahwah six years ago. A graduate of NYU, Art was an electrical engineer and owner of ANReichel, Inc. of Park Ridge. He retired in 1995. He was a member of the Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. Art was a parishioner of Church of the Presentation, Upper Saddle River. He is survived by his beloved wife Nancy, formerly Nancy Scotto, his nephew Richard Reichel of NC, his niece June Graber of Pembroke Pines, FL and his grand-nephew Richard Graber of Nashville, TN. He is also survived by his five step-children; Adrienne Andresen and Sandra Amin of Fair Lawn, Michele Fischman of Old Tappan and David Scotto and Paul E. Scotto of Cave Creek, AZ, and seven step-grandchildren. Art was predeceased by his former wife Mildred Reichel and his brother Walter. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (www.vpfh.com) 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff. The funeral mass will take place on Wednesday, 10:00 AM at Church of the Presentation, 271 West Saddle River Road Upper Saddle River, NJ 07458. Interment will follow at Westwood Cemetery.
