Obituary of Grace Pitcher

PITCHER, Grace A. (nee Thelan) age 83 of Bangor and East Boothbay, ME formerly of Hawthorne, NJ and Franklin Lakes, NJ, died Monday, 10/27/2008 at her home in Bangor, ME. Born February 16, 1925 in Paterson, NJ, graduated Tuxedo, NY High School in 1942. For more than 30 years Grace was the Secretary Treasurer for Pitcher's Office Equipment in Midland Park, NJ retiring in 1987. Surviving are her children, Michael Pitcher and his wife Judith of Midland Park and Molly Harrison and her husband Dean of Ellsworth, ME, two grandsons Todd Pitcher, Max Pitcher and his wife Nadine and two great grandchildren Sarah and Alex Pitcher. Grace was pre-deceased by her husband Frank J. Pitcher in 1987. Funeral services will be held Friday 9:15 am from the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral mass will follow 10:00 am at the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 787 Franklin Lakes Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ. Interment will be in Christ the King Cemetery.
