Obituary of Robert Woodward Schutz

SCHUTZ, Robert Woodward, age 69 of Wyckoff, NJ died suddenly Sunday, October 19, 2008. Born in North Bergen, NJ he lived in Wyckoff since 1971 and was a long-time summer resident of Weekapaug and Shelter Harbor, RI. Robert was Senior Vice President of Citibank, N.A., New York, NY for 38 years before his retirement. He was a member of Old Paramus Reformed Church, and served on the Consistory. He was a member of The Friends of the Hermitage, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ. Member of the Weekapaug Golf Club and Weekapaug Yacht Club and the NJ Auctioneer Society. Surviving is his wife of 47 years Linda (nee Lubben) Schutz of Wyckoff, his daughter, Karin Schutz Scotti and her husband Frank of Ho-Ho-Kus, and his son, Glenn W. Schutz and his wife Penny of Trumbull, CT. Also surviving are his grandsons, Matthew and Andrew Scotti; Thomas and Griffin Schutz. His sister, Ellen Brooks of Allendale, NJ and his brother, David Schutz of San Diego, CA. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. Memorial Service Thursday 11 am at Old Paramus Reformed Church, 660 East Glen Ave. Ridgewood, NJ 07450. Private Cremation will be held.
