Obituary of Garry Hazen

Hazen, Garry Jr. age 94 of Pompton Lakes, died Thursday, May 29, 2008 at his home. Born in Midland Park he was a resident of Midland Park for 83 years before moving to Pompton Lakes 11 years ago. Garry was a Self-employed Milkman and then worked for Garden State Farms Dairy Store, Hawthorne, NJ for many years. He was a member of the Midland Park Christian Reformed Church and was involved in their Senior Crusaders. He was also a member of the Wanaque Senior Group. Surviving is his son, Garry and his wife Ida Hazen of Newfield, NY, his daughter Barbara and her husband Richard Eldridge of Oakland, NJ. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and his brother, James Hazen of Midland Park and sister, Kate Yolman of North Carolina. He was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Bertha (nee Miller) Hazen in 2000. Visiting Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Olthuis Funeral Home, 159 Godwin Ave. MIldand Park, NJ.
